ROCHELLE — Burnt food was reportedly the source of smoke coming out a window at Countryside Apartments in Rochelle over the lunch hour on Wednesday afternoon.
Rochelle fire and emergency personnel were called to the complex shortly after noon on April 12 and while smoke was located and residents evacuated outside, there apparently was no fire.
More details will be available in the Thursday, April 13 edition of the News-Leader.
