ROCHELLE — Not much went right for the Rochelle varsity softball team when the Lady Hubs hosted a talented Sycamore squad on Tuesday. Rochelle managed only two extra-base hits in the game, with doubles coming from freshman Jordin Dickey and junior Hannah Luxton.
Sycamore bounced back from a scoreless first inning, totaling six runs in the fourth inning and five runs in both the second and fifth innings to rout the Lady Hubs 18-0 and drop Rochelle to 2-14 overall. The Spartans recorded two runs in the third inning.
