Steward's Suddeth receives farm bureau scholarship

AMBOY — The Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation has awarded scholarships to five area students pursuing degrees in agriculture related fields of studies.
Marie Barnickel, Compton, is the recipient of the Larry J. Green Memorial Scholarship. The Larry J. Green Memorial Scholarship was established in 2003 to honor long-time Lee County Farm Bureau Manager, Larry J. Green, for his more than 30 years of service to the organization. Barnickel is the daughter of Gale and Christina Barnickel.
Cody Suddeth, of Steward and Zachary Becker, of Amboy, are both the recipients of the Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships.

Suddeth is the son of Neil and Jodi Suddeth. Becker is the son of Steve and Karen Becker.
Alyssa Gascoigne, of Amboy, was named recipient of the Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship. Gascoigne is the daughter of Gary and Lisa Gascoigne.
Sierra Harris, of Franklin Grove, is the recipient of the Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation Sauk Valley Community College Scholarship. Harris is the daughter of John and Anne Harris.
The Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation began awarding scholarships in 1992 and has since provided scholarships to 73 students pursuing degrees in an agricultural-related field of study.
The Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation would like to congratulate this year’s scholarship recipients and wish success with their education and future careers.
