ROCKFORD – Stillman Bank recently ended their “Purchase with a Purpose” Debit Card campaign in which a $1 donation was made to local charities with every Stillman Bank Debit Card transaction up to $20,000.
Stillman Bank is excited to be able to present checks for $2,000 to 10 non-profit organizations throughout the Rock River Valley.
One of the 10 charities chosen to receive the funds from this campaign was The ARC of Winnebago, Boone, and Ogle Counties. The Arc of Winnebago, Boone and Ogle Counties has been serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1966.
The organization serves approximately 200 families annually through Home-Based Support Services and other programs designed to assist individuals with these types of disabilities to live as independently as possible and be integrated into the community.
