Dear Editor,
I’ve known John Bearrows most of my adult life.
As a fellow licensed auctioneer, I love to watch other auctioneers interact with their crowd. John has a unique gift of connecting. It’s a natural talent and I truly admire his ability.
John is a facilitator. He recognizes a problem, analyzes it and brings it to a sensible conclusion. John has the skill to listen to all sides of an issue and tactfully deal with opposing positions.
I know John to be a man of honesty and integrity. When I learned that he was running for mayor of Rochelle, I asked if I could write a letter on his behalf.
John Bearrows, as mayor, will make Rochelle proud.

Dear Editor,
Having known and worked with John Bearrows for many years, I urge voters to consider Bearrows for mayor.
I am a business owner and operator of Johnson Tractor in Rochelle. Over the past few years, we have been considering planning for a new facility. After reviewing the cost to build in Rochelle, we chose to relocate.
Following our decision, councilman John Bearrows approached me as to why. He suggested we give him some time to propose alternative options and reconsider our decision.
After many meetings with city officials, John proposed a new plan to build here in Rochelle.
