Thank you for supporting Pegasus

Dear Editor,
On Saturday, April 29, Pegasus Special Riders, Inc., held a Music Festival at the VFW in Dixon.
The event was held to “kick off” the 20thyear of providing therapeutic horseback riding lessons to mentally, physically and/or emotionally challenged individuals in Ogle, Lee, Whiteside, Stephenson, Winnebago and DeKalb counties in Northern Illinois.
Pegasus would like to thank the following bands that donated their time and enormous talents to the benefit of Pegasus, as this was a fundraiser for the organization:

Tristan Busman, Acoustic Transporter, Josh Naylon and Friends, Dysfunctional Gents, Lunch With Pedro and last, but not least, Dirty Beet Brothers.  Amber Gilley, Jazmin Semple, and Ashley Van Oosten were also instrumental in helping with all the details.
Our thanks also to the Dixon VFW for allowing Pegasus to hold this fundraiser at their facility.
Pegasus is always in need of Volunteers and most importantly, the organization needs PATH INT. CERTIFIED Instructors so we can serve more clients and provide more therapeutic horseback riding therapy to the clients. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or finding out how to become a PATH INT. Certified Instructor, please contact Pegasus Special Riders at 815-973-3177.
Thanks to all who helped at the event and all those that supported Pegasus by attending!
Thank you,
Donna L. Fellows, board president of Pegasus Special Riders
