Dear Editor,
I want to thank everyone who came and assisted last week after a tree fell into my tenant’s home last week.
The Rochelle Fire Department was there that night and they got in touch with the Red Cross, helping to get my tenants in a hotel that night.
I also want to thank A-1 Tree Service. It was getting dark, they came and assessed the situation and made space in their busy schedule the next morning to lift the tree off of the roof.
Another person I wanted to thank is Doug Johnson with Berg-Johnson Electric. He came out on his busy schedule to get the power back on.
So many people in our small community came out in our time of need and I’m very thankful to you all.
