HILLCREST — Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Hillcrest early Saturday evening after a subject was found laying in a ditch.
On Aug. 11, at 5:03 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Illinois Route 251 and Linda Avenue for a subject laying in the ditch. After a short investigation deputies arrested Ruth David, 31, of Aurora, for battery, Jason Nykaza, 35, of Oglesby, for DUI, and Lawrence Wood, 40, of Marengo, for obstruction of a police officer.
All were transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Hillcrest and Rochelle fire departments.
