On July 13, the following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Shannon Day, 24, of Sterling, for failure to appear. Day posted the $200 purge bond and will appear in court on July 30.
Joshua Silva, 25, of DeKalb, for failure to appear. Silva posted a bond of $125 and was released with no further court date.
On July 14 at approximately 9:14 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 9000 block of East IL Route 64. Taylor R. Young, 20, of Oregon, was arrested for driving while license suspended and cited for expired registration.
On July 15 at 8:46 p.m., following a traffic stop on I-39 at mile marker 99, Ogle County deputies arrested Gonzalo Dominguez, 40, of Madison, Wis., for driving while license revoked and driving without a valid driver’s license. Dominguez was also wanted on a warrant from DuPage County for failure to appear on a DUI charge. Dominguez was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
