ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has partnered with the Department of Defense to recognize veterans of the United States Armed Forces who served in any theater between Nov. 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975.
Vietnam era veterans and significant others are invited to Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day on March 29, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Roberts Armory WWII Museum, 2090 Brush Grove Road, Rochelle.
The welcome home ceremony includes a certificate of recognition and a lapel pin. There have been six previous welcome home ceremonies with a total of 77 Vietnam era veterans honored. If you would like to attend please RSVP by March 25th to Mary Lou Kator at 815-299-1943.
