The Rochelle Area Community Foundation facilitated a grant to the Rochelle Township High School Music Boosters from the HP ‘Jim’ Walker Memorial Endowment in the amount of $500 to provide a pizza dinner for the students, staff and chaperones of the marching band as they represent RTHS and the State of Illinois at the Parade of Heroes in Washington, D.C. on Veterans Day. Thanking RACF Director and HP Walker’s daughter, Kim Montgomery (center), Tuesday morning were band members Carly Hernandez, Sierra Ramos, Lillian Weston, Jasmine Hennessee, Jaela Ludwig and Logan Popp.
