ROCHELLE – Rochelle Walmart customers are invited to attend the grand reopening celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28.  There will be customer giveaways, hot dogs, pizza, fresh fruit and activities for kids.
The newly remodeled Rochelle Walmart Supercenter, 311 E. Route 38, celebrated the project completion recently with a ribbon cutting event.

Store improvements
• State-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays
• Improved lighting in produce department
• New bakery display provides a wider assortment of fresh bread
• Addition of eight new self-checkouts at the front of the store (bringing total to 12) to save customers time

• Enhanced infant department with easier access to everyday essentials such as diapers and formula
• Expanded assortment of bilingual greeting cards
• Walmart Pickup conveniently located at the front of the store
• Expanded bike and toy assortment in the toy department
• Addition of Hot and Fresh $5 pizza
• New layout and larger assortment in intimates
• Larger assortment of salads in the deli department
 “We’re always looking for ways to make our customers’ lives easier,” said store manager Jim Haager. “We’re excited for everyone to come see how we are helping give time back to our Rochelle customers with a new and improved shopping experience.”
