White Pines lodge expansion begins

Posted

OREGON — White Pines Resort will soon host an expansion project at the Lodge that will include a new stage, audio/video equipment, VIP seating for theatre and special events.
A groundbreaking for the work was held on Oct. 6.
White Pines Resort (WPR) President Beth Henderson is both nostalgic and optimistic about the Sycamore Room expansion.

“Twnety-nine years ago I became the IDNR Concessionaire at White Pines Forest State Park and was excited to host the first theatre production in the newly built playhouse,” she said.
“This December I’m even more thrilled to complete this expansion which will provide our theatre productions with state of the art sound systems and lighting on a new stage.
This will also now enable us to serve our WPR Retreat Center corporate clients with the type of modern presentation amenities that they would expect in a boardroom type environment – except they’ll be relaxing in a landmark status log lodge built in the 1930s!”
For more information regarding the event and expansion project impact on the surrounding areas, please contact Jerry Campagna, WPR Vice President of Operations at 815-946-2400, Ext. 102 or e-mail JerryC@GotGoodNatured.com.
