ROCHELLE — Rochelle Police Department officers charged a Creston woman with driving under the influence after her car got stuck on the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe railroad tracks and was struck by a passing train Thursday night.
No one suffered any injuries, but Natalie Fenwick, 36, of Creston, was arrested for DUI following the incident.

The accident took place at approximately 8:53 p.m. on May 11 on First Ave. near Poplar St.
Police reports state that Fenwick was traveling eastbound on First Ave. when she turned left on the BNSF railroad tracks in an attempt to turn around and her car got stuck on the tracks.
She exited the vehicle, but a short time later a BNSF train struck the rear of the vehicle. The train pushed the car about 70 feet west of the tracks following impact.
The driver of the train was Glen Meade, 59, of Sugar Grove, while Steven Holmes, 63, of Sugar Grove, was also on board the train at the time of the collision.
