ROCHELLE — Liberty Village of Rochelle will have a groundbreaking of its new Manor Court Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, June 20 at 1 p.m.
The new 64,000 square foot facility will provide resident-centered care in a home-like environment.
The 92-bed facility features private and semi-private suites with private bathrooms and showers in each room, neighborhood dining for each level of care, a media room, a courtyard for family socializing, the Bounce Back Rehabilitation Program, AJ’s Fitness Center, outpatient care, and memory care.
The Bounce Back Program for short-term rehabilitation needs will include an interdisciplinary team of experienced expert professionals providing a full range of nursing care and rehabilitative therapies using state of the art equipment and evidenced based care.
Memory care for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other related impairments will also be offered. The staff in this unique neighborhood will be carefully selected and trained to be sensitive to the needs of residents as well as their families.
“We are eager to bring Liberty Village to Rochelle,” said Don Fike, the Developer. “From short-term rehabilitation needs to long-term care, we have implemented thoughtful ways to improve the standard of practice.”  Fike added, “This facility will bring 145 new jobs to the Rochelle community. Our housekeeping, nursing, therapy, maintenance and other needs will be filled locally by Rochelle and surrounding area residents.”
Construction will begin in July and its anticipated opening will be December of 2019.
The facility is located at 2201 Flagg Road in Rochelle.
