Noah Messer was tested early in his football career at Rochelle Township High School. The rising senior has since grown into an impactful two-way lineman, and after earning an All-Conference Honorable Mention from the Interstate 8 this past season, the three-year varsity player has set his sights on becoming a First-Team honoree during the 2020 campaign.

Boys Soccer: Walters shooting for 20-20 senior season

Zane Walters has waited patiently for the opportunity to shine at his natural attacking position in the midfield. After totaling a team-high 19 assists for the Hubs this past season, Walters will have the chance to fully prove himself as a rising senior and four-year varsity soccer player.

INDIANAPOLIS — Since beginning her freshman season at Rochelle Township High School, rising senior Megan Thiravong has been shooting to achieve a single-round score of 69. That dream became a reality when Thiravong battled over 100 prep golfers during the 5th Annual Girls Midwest Golf College Showcase at Winding Ridge Golf Club this past weekend.

Boys Soccer: Quintanilla builds trust, confidence in net

When Rochelle Township High School senior Alexis Quintanilla was 6 years old, he would watch his cousins play soccer every Saturday in Rockford. The interest in soccer prompted his father to sign him up for the sport, and as soon as he was placed on his first team, he was hooked.

Boys Basketball: Prusator to coach hoops at Zionsville

Rochelle Township High School alum Grant Prusator ended his prep basketball career as one of the greatest scorers and all-around players in program history. Nearly eight years after graduating from RTHS, Prusator will be returning to the high school hardwood, only this time he’ll be coaching from the bench as a varsity assistant at Zionsville High School in Indiana.

IHSA releases Phase 4 Return to Play Guidelines

With the IHSA enacting its Phase 4 Return to Play Guidelines this past Friday, Rochelle Township High School student-athletes are transitioning from virtual workouts and returning to team facilities to continue the remainder of their summer activities.
