ROCHELLE — Hub City Senior Center of Rochelle accepted a $11,300 donation from 100+ Women Who Care of Ogle County on April 8 at the Lincoln Arts Center in Rochelle. Each quarter the members choose the recipient by vote chosen from three well deserving candidates. Hub City Senior Center offers a wide variety of services and activities to support the growing population of seniors in our communities. They offer meals and transportation providing as many as 8,500 rides a year. There is growing evidence of the need for social interaction and physical activity in our later years and the senior center is a key part of supporting those essentials.
100+ Women Who Care is a growing community of women in Ogle County who join together to support local not for profits in Ogle County. The group meets every quarter in various locations.
