ROCHELLE – The intersection of 8^th Avenue and 14^th Street will be closed for a roadway repair Thursday, Aug. 22 and Friday, Aug. 23. The street will re-open by the end of the day on Friday.  Rochelle Municipal Utilities’ contractor, Martin & Company, will be restoring the pavement for an RMU sanitary sewer repair. Driveway access to residents, within the work zone, may be limited during this time.

Advance warning, barricades, detour and other temporary traffic control devices will be posted near the affected area. Please use caution while traveling in this area and pay special attention to the advanced warning signage, road closed signage and other temporary traffic control devices within or in advance of the work zone. The city appreciates your patience during the project.
