Ashton man arrested for illegal transportation of alcohol warrant

On Feb. 25 Eric N. Holbrook, 45, of Ashton, was arrested by the Ogle County Sheriff’s office for an illegal transportation of alcohol warrant. Holbrook posted $150 bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Holbrook will return to court on March 20 at 9 a.m.
On Feb. 25 at approximately 5:17 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 14,000 block of West Coffman Road for an equipment violation. After a brief investigation, Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Polizzi, 53, of Lanark, for driving while license suspended and a valid warrant out of Carroll County. Polizzi was taken to the Ogle County Jail and help in lieu of bond.
Feb. 26
On Feb. 26 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Leia Thumann, 42, for failure to appear. Thumann has a full cash bond of $457 and was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 28 at 9 a.m.
Jazmin Johnson, 23, for driving while license suspended. Johnson posted $300 Bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with a return court date of March 20. at 9 a.m.
On Feb. 28 Antwon M. Woodson, 27, of Polo, was arrested by Ogle County Sheriff’s office for a failure to appear warrant. Woodson has a bond of $307 and was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. Woodson remain in custody at the Ogle County Jail.
