DIXON — The Rochelle Hubs fell in a lopsided nonconference battle against Dixon on Monday evening. Senior guard Elijah Harley finished with eight points, while sophomore forward Brody Bruns added six points and six rebounds as the Hubs remained winless with a 70-32 loss.
Darius Harrington led the charge for Dixon, scoring 29 points and grabbing 12 rebounds to conclude the game with a double-double. Rochelle trailed 39-20 at halftime and was blitzed in the third quarter, where the Dukes outscored the Hubs 24-8 to clinch their nonconference win. Rochelle (0-5, 0-1 Interstate 8) will face Genoa-Kingston at home on Wednesday evening.
