ARLINGTON HEIGHTS — The St. Paul Crusader varsity basketball team took fourth in the 2022 LSA State Championship tournament earlier this month, with Bane Workman and Brody Bruns each earning All-State Tournament Team honors.
St. Paul defeated Red Bud St. John 54-30 in the first round before topping Morton Bethel 40-34 in the quarterfinals. St. Paul fell against Peoria Christ and Rockford Lutheran to finish the tournament in fourth place.
