Cinco de April First Fridays at the Mt. Morris Moose

Posted

MOUNT MORRIS – OK – we know it’s a month early for the Cinco de … phrase, but we had to take advantage of the fifth and First Friday falling together.
Anyway, the good times are going to roll at the Mount Morris Moose Family Center, 485 E. Hitt St., for the popular open stage music show and a good time is assured for all on April 5.
Musicians will draw for time slots at 6:30 p.m. and performances will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until all musicians, even late arrivals, have had their turn on stage.
A jam session will follow until it is time for the traditional closing with Will the Circle Be Unbroken.

The musical styles vary widely including country, bluegrass, folk, blues, light rock, and eclectic blending of multiple genres. The musicians will be supported by a professional sound system engineered by Mike Bratt.
Music fans are encouraged to arrive hungry and thirsty as the Mount Morris Moose Club is highly regarded for its food and beverage service.
Be sure to mark April 5 on your calendar to be part of a new chapter in the 18-year history of First Fridays.
