OGLE COUNTY — On July 30, Ogle County Clerk and Recorder Laura J. Cook announced the recipients of a Polling Place Accessibility Grant from the Illinois State Board of Elections. There were four applications submitted and the State Board of Elections chose two for Ogle County for a total of $51,784.84. The voters at the Eagle Point and Flagg Township buildings will notice improvements that were made when they arrive to vote in the Nov. 5 General Election.
Eagle Point Township installed a concrete parking area and new ADA door to its building. Flagg Township redesigned the ADA entrance to the Early Voting site at its building.
