The Hub Hickory Nuts 4-H Club of Rochelle has had a busy summer.
On June 25 the club served milk and cookies following the Flagg Rochelle Public Library’s Annual Pet Show, pictured. The Ogle County Fair was held July 31 through Aug. 4 at the Ogle County Fairgrounds in Oregon. There were approximately 125 completed projects representing the Hub Hickory Nuts.
The Hub Hickory Nuts 4-H Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Hicks Hall, Rochelle UMC, 709 4th Ave., Rochelle. The next monthly meeting will be the start of a new 4-H year along with the election of officers.
Due to the Labor Day holiday this meeting will be held Monday, Sept. 9. For more information on joining 4-H Hub Hickory Nuts of Rochelle, call Trisha Vaughn at 815-751-6667.
