Local Cub Scout Pack 553 held a “blue and gold” celebration at the First Presbyterian Church earlier this week. Most Cub Scouts celebrate Scouting Anniversary Week in February with a “birthday party” called the blue and gold banquet. Several Arrow of Light cub scouts crossed over to boy scouts:  Reece Harris, Caiden McEnroe, Daniel Rangel and Miles Hunley. The party was made complete with food and refreshments along with several cub scouts who performed skits to entertain the guests. The kids received their awards for their achievements and the ranks completed.
