The Rochelle Chapter NSDAR recently welcomed two new members. Pictured left to right are Regent Sarah Flanagan, new members Terry Danner and Amy Mekeel, and Chaplain Mary Lou Kator. The National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s volunteer organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. Any woman, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove her lineage to a patriot of the American Revolution is welcome to join.
