ROCHELLE — David William Wedig, 73, of Rochelle, Illinois went home on March 8th, 2025, at Rochelle Community Hospital. He was born on March 6^th, 1952, in Dubuque, Iowa to William and Mary Jeannette (Ware) Wedig. He graduated from Rochelle High School. He worked as a licensed plumber for many years.

He is survived by his brothers, Matthew, Louis and Carl Wedig as well as 8 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Joel and Kevin (Boona) Wedig, and sister Sharon Powers.

A small family service will be held at a later date. 

David was a very generous man with his time and touched many lives.  He was loved by many friends and family and will be missed.
