OREGON — The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office has opened a death investigation after receiving a call to an address Friday in rural Oregon with a report of a deceased person.
At about 9:59 a.m. Friday deputies were called to an address in the 4,000 block of East Illinois Route 64 in rural Oregon regarding a deceased person. As of 2:43 p.m. Friday the Sheriff's Office remained on scene investigating the incident. A state fire marshal vehicle was also seen at the site of the investigation Friday.
Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle told the Rochelle News-Leader and Ogle County Life Friday that no more information will be released until an autopsy is completed Monday.
