ROCKFORD — Debra Louise Oleson, 64, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria, Illinois.  Deb was born on April 3, 1961 to Orlo E. and Margaret L. (Irving) Oleson in Rochelle, IL.  She worked for Landstar Inway in Rockford as a Programmer Analyst for over 27 years.

Deb enjoyed going to lunch/dinner with her cousin, Pam, and with her friends from work. She had a special place in her heart for her current cat, Smokey, her previous cat, Cami, and the many other cats the family had over the years.  Deb loved to travel.  She and her family took many trips together and Deb also did several solo trips, in total covering all but two of the 50 states.

Deb is preceded in death by her parents, Orlo and Margaret; her brother, Doug Oleson; two cousins: Joe Irving and Ron Oleson and all of her aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her 12 cousins: Pam Oleson of Sublette, IL, Julie (Chris) Christopherson of Jamestown, TN, Gene (Annette) Irving of Sycamore, IL, Amy (Steve) Pappas of Portage, WI, Ben (Val) Oleson of Batavia, IL, Rick Oleson of Rochelle, IL, Gene Oleson of Mazomanie, WI, Diana (Bruce) Angleton of Dixon, IL, Don (Donna) Sarver of Dixon, IL, Dan (Shirley) Alsup of Dixon, IL, Susan Oleson of Jacksonville, FL and Chuck (Kathleen) Oleson of Brookfield, WI.
