On Sept. 25, at 9:50 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7000 block of North IL Route 2 for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Peggy Campello, 39, of Rockford, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringes, and no valid driver’s license. Campello was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On Sept. 26, at approximately 10:20 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of S. Illinois Route 251. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Jacob Zamora, 18, of Rochelle, for possession of a controlled substance. Zamora was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no rear registration plate light, and possession of cannabis under 10 Grams. Zamora was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.
On Sept. 27, at 5:50 a.m., Ogle County deputies initiated a traffic stop for an equipment violation in at Stone Hill Road and Illinois Route 64. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Jamie Gasper-Hernandez, 48, of Rochelle, for no valid driver’s license. Gasper-Hernandez was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
