OREGON — Property owners in Ogle County have begun receiving their tax bill in the mail this past week.
More than 29,000 property tax bills were mailed by the Ogle County Treasurer’s office.
The document contains tax information and payment coupons for the two installments.
The first installment is due July 1. The second installment is due Sept. 11.
Officials will not to waive the late payment fee of 1.5 percent per month.
Payment can be made by cash or check to the Ogle County Treasurer’s office in Oregon by mail or in person after June 1 when the office reopens.
Payments can also be made at any bank in Ogle County or online at https://www.oglecounty.org/departments/treasurer/online_tax_payments.php with a credit card.
