ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Hub varsity football team named 11 student-athletes to the Interstate 8 All-Conference roster this season. Eight student-athletes received First-Team awards, while three more student-athletes received Honorable Mentions this season.

Senior Grant Gensler (RB/DB) was named to the All-Conference team for a third straight season. Gensler led the Hubs with 1,485 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns while adding 25 tackles and two interceptions on defense. Senior Kaiden Morris (OL/DL) was named to the All-Conference team for a fourth straight season. Morris started at right guard and defensive tackle for the Hubs, totaling 20 tackles and two sacks for the Rochelle defense this season.

Senior Jack Pavlak (TE/DL) was named to the All-Conference team for a third straight season. Pavlak hauled in 53 receiving yards and one touchdown while adding 11 tackles and two sacks on defense. Senior Ethan Goodwin (LB) was named to the All-Conference team for the first time. Goodwin led the Hubs with 79 tackles and nine tackles for loss while adding two sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and two blocked kicks. 

Senior Jack Carmichael (OL) was named to the All-Conference team for a second straight season. Carmichael, who started at left guard for the Hubs, was also named the Interstate 8 Lineman of the Year. Junior Brode Metzger (TE/LB) was named to the All-Conference team for the first time. Metzger recorded 32 tackles, three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and two pass breakups while adding two catches for 48 yards and one touchdown on offense.

Junior Roman Villalobos (RB) was named an All-Conference First Team winner for the first time. Villalobos, who was an Honorable Mention last season, rushed for 1,111 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. Sophomore Dylan Manning (RB/DB) was named to the All-Conference team for a second straight season. Manning rushed for 1,250 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding two receiving touchdowns plus 34 tackles, six pass breakups and one interception on defense. 

Senior Alex Pemberton (OL/DL) was named an Honorable Mention for the second straight season. Pemberton started at left tackle for the Hubs this season. Senior Xavier Villalobos (DB) was named an Honorable Mention for the second straight season. Villalobos recorded 50 tackles, seven pass breakups and two interceptions for the Rochelle defense this season.

Senior Ryan Senne (DL) was named an Honorable Mention this season. Senne, who was an All-Conference winner last season, finished with 28 tackles and 3.5 sacks this season. Rochelle finished with a 10-2 overall record and took second with a 4-1 record in the Interstate 8 this fall.
