ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Hub fresh-soph football team dominated for the second straight week, defeating the Sandwich Indians 42-6 and improving to 3-1 on the season. Rochelle will face Sycamore on the road Monday, April 19 at 5 p.m.
Sophomore Landon DeLille rushed for a team-high 143 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. Sophomore Hayden Inman tossed two touchdown passes including a 12-yarder to sophomore Aidan Darby and a 17-yarder to sophomore David Gerber.
Sophomore Aidan Rodriguez and freshman Tommy Tourdot each recorded rushing touchdowns in the win, while freshman Landon Mickley led the Rochelle defense with two fumble recoveries and four tackles. Freshman Brock Metzger totaled seven tackles and sophomore Kyce Jaradat finished with six tackles including one for a loss.
