ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Hub fresh-soph football team concluded the 2024 season with a victory on Monday evening, when the purple and white took down DuPec 39-20 in nonconference play. Freshman quarterback Cohen Haedt threw two touchdown passes including a 65-yarder to sophomore Keegan Cathina and a 5-yarder to sophomore Brody Bruns.
Sophomore Tyler Gensler rushed for a 2-yard touchdown and a 3-yard touchdown, while freshman Andrew Eyster added a 7-yard touchdown run for the Hubs, who finished the season with a 7-1 overall record. Bruns and Eyster combined for 13 tackles and three tackles for loss to lead the Rochelle defense in the victory.
