MORRIS — The Rochelle Hub JV football team scored two touchdowns during its Interstate 8 Conference road game against Morris on Monday evening. 

Junior Van Gerber threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to sophomore Keegan Cathina and rushed for a 65-yard touchdown to lead the Hub offense in a 16-14 loss to Morris. Junior Reece Harris recorded eight tackles for Rochelle (2-1, 1-1 Interstate 8), while sophomore Brody Bruns finished with six tackles and two tackles for loss.

Junior Mark Green snagged an interception and freshman Sebastian Albertson collected five tackles and one tackle for loss. Rochelle's next JV matchup will be at Kaneland on Monday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m.
