Frank Eugene Cook


ROCHELLE – Frank Eugene Cook, 62, of Rochelle died peacefully Saturday, July 24 in Wisconsin with family and his “secretary” by his side.

Frank was born March 15, 1959 in Sterling to Ervin and Elizabeth Cook. He was employed by Del Monte and Silgan Containers until 2016. He then retired to enjoy his camper in the middle of nowhere in Chetek, Wisconsin.

He was survived by three siblings, Rebecca (Rick) Smith of Lyndon, Shelly (Tim) Williams of Bono, Arkansas and Robert Cook of Dixon; two nieces, Linda (Chris) Hendrick of Forreston and Heidi Cook of Rock Falls; two nephews, Michael (Holly) Smith and Christopher Coy of Rochelle; three great nieces, Grace Smith, Emma Smith and Jariyah Chattic and three great nephews, Jy’ralde Chattic, Marcus Shover and Isiah Shover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Mary Cook and Wanda Cook and one brother, Ed Cook.

Frank did not want a funeral and has instead asked that we throw him a “Party,” which will take place at Da Place in Rochelle on Aug. 21 at 1 p.m.
