The Rochelle Lady Hub bowling team took on the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers at the Illinois Valley Super Bowl on Wednesday, falling 2,934-2,080 and moving to 1-7 on the season. Senior Kiya Porter led Rochelle with a 416 series, while junior Alyssa Schwanert added a 379 series.

PERU — The Rochelle Lady Hub bowling team took on the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers at the Illinois Valley Super Bowl on Wednesday, falling 2,934-2,080 and moving to 1-7 on the season. Senior Kiya Porter led Rochelle with a 416 series, while junior Alyssa Schwanert added a 379 series.
LaSalle-Peru won the first game 999-663 behind 233 from Isabella Weber and 182 from Maria Pawlak. Schwanert rolled 138 for Rochelle. The Cavaliers took the second game 952-734, with Weber shooting 205 and Pawlak adding 202. Porter fired 141 and freshman Faith Adams followed with 140 for the Lady Hubs, who will host Morris on Monday, March 8 at 4 p.m.
LaSalle-Peru claimed the third game 983-683 to sweep the series. Weber shot 183 to finish with a 621 series, while Pawlak recorded 223 for a 607 series. Porter totaled 157 in the final game.
