OREGON — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team adjusted its lineup during Friday afternoon's nonconference match against the short-handed Oregon Hawks. Senior Anahi Alanis led the varsity team with a 483 series, while senior Faith Adams added a 416 series as the Lady Hubs defeated Oregon 2,323-1,880.

Rochelle (8-4, 5-2 Interstate 8)  will host DeKalb on Monday, LaSalle-Peru on Wednesday and Belvidere on Friday. Rochelle won the opening game 720-657, with Alanis firing a 140 and Adams adding a 125 to lead the Lady Hubs. Rochelle dominated the second game, winning 879-654 behind a series-best 185 from Adams and a 161 from Alanis.

Seniors Dalila Garcia and Lily Owen totaled series-best scores of 147 and 145, respectively, during the second game. Rochelle clinched the nonconference sweep with a 724-569 win in the third and final game. Alanis bowed out with a series-best 182 in the third game, while senior Kenzie Liezert rolled a 132 and Owen notched a 125.
