PERU — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team battled LaSalle-Peru during an Interstate 8 Conference matchup Wednesday evening. Freshman Cassidy Vincent rolled a team-high 578 series for the Lady Hubs, who fell 3,162-2,516 to move to 1-3 overall this season.
LaSalle-Peru opened the match with a 950-786 victory in the first game. Makenzie Hamilton led the Cavaliers with 182, while Vincent fired 185 for the Lady Hubs. LaSalle-Peru took the second game 1,055-895 behind 223 from Olivia Weber and 190 from Isabella Weber. Vincent scored a series-best 229 to lead Rochelle, while senior Alyssa Schwanert followed with 205.
The Cavaliers finished the sweep with a 1,157-835 win in the third game. Olivia Weber scored 266 for a match-best 660 series, with Isabella Weber recording 235 for a 604 series. Schwanert fired 201 in the third game to card a 535 series for the Lady Hubs, while Vincent rolled 164
