Ottawa won the meet with a 2,624 series and Mendota took third with a 2,369 series. Freshman Cassidy Vincent led Rochelle (7-10, 4-6 Interstate 8) with a 511 series and senior Alyssa Mickley rolled a 476 series for the Lady Hubs.

OTTAWA — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team faced Ottawa and Mendota on the road Thursday evening, finishing second in the three-team meet with a 2,568 series score. Ottawa won the meet with a 2,624 series and Mendota took third with a 2,369 series. Freshman Cassidy Vincent led Rochelle (7-10, 4-6 Interstate 8) with a 511 series and senior Alyssa Mickley rolled a 476 series for the Lady Hubs.
Rochelle defeated both Ottawa and Mendota in the first game, shooting 896 while Ottawa rolled 843 and Mendota scored 818. Vincent fired 171 for the Lady Hubs in the first game and senior Zoe Rourke landed one pin behind with a season-high 170 score. Senior Anna Samo added 157 for the Lady Hubs.
Rochelle also took the second game on Thursday, totaling 856 while Ottawa recorded 830 and Mendota scored 803. Mickley’s 183 and Samo’s 173 were the high scores for the Lady Hubs, while sophomore Faith Adams fired 150 and Vincent chipped in 148. Laura Pool led the Pirates with 185 in the second game.
Ottawa rallied to win the overall series with a 951 in the third game. Rochelle rolled 843 and Mendota scored 748 in the third game. Vincent bowled 192 and Adams followed with 160 for the Lady Hubs to end the meet. McKenzie Lewis totaled 214 and finished the meet with a 522 series to lead the Pirates. Rochelle will compete in the Interstate 8 Conference meet at Echo Lanes in Morris on Monday, Jan. 31.
