ROCHELLE — Senior Cassidy Vincent fired a 558 series to lead the Rochelle Lady Hubs during their nonconference varsity bowling match against Streator at T-Byrd Lanes on Thursday night.
Junior Kylie McCullough threw a 495 series and sophomore Ava Norris rolled a 425 series for the Lady Hubs, who conceded all three games during their 2,639-2,334 loss to the Bulldogs. Madi Bedecker totaled a 534 series and Lyla Gengler added a 465 series to lead the Streator side. Rochelle (2-6, 1-3 Interstate 8) will face Ottawa on the road next Monday evening.
Streator took the opening game 877-786 behind a 192 from Bedecker. Vincent shot a 171 and McCullough bowled a 156 for the Lady Hubs, who fell to the Bulldogs 845-775 during the second game, where Vincent fired a series-best 212 on the Rochelle side. Streator clinched the sweep with a 917-773 win in the third game, where Bedecker scored a 187 and Gengler added a 181. McCullough’s series-best 191 and Vincent’s 175 fueled Rochelle in the final game.
