ROCHELLE — Senior Cassidy Vincent rolled a team-high 533 series to anchor the Rochelle Lady Hubs during their nonconference varsity bowling match against Belvidere on Wednesday.

Junior Kylie McCullough totaled a 468 series for the Lady Hubs, who conceded all three games to the Bucs in a 2,625-2,251 loss at T-Byrd Lanes. Sophomore Ava Norris bowled a 359 series for the Lady Hubs (2-7, 1-3 Interstate 8), who will host Ottawa in Interstate 8 play Thursday.

Belvidere took the opening game 951-759, with Jasper Baker shooting a 204 to lead the Bucs and Vincent throwing a 181 on the Rochelle side. Belvidere extended its series advantage with an 864-763 victory during the second game, where Baker fired a series-best and match-best 244 for the Bucs. Vincent rolled a 189 and McCullough scored a 157 for the Lady Hubs.

Belvidere clinched its nonconference sweep with an 846-729 win in the third and final game. Baker bowled a 160 to end the match with a team-best 608 series on the Belvidere side, while McCullough finished strong with a series-best 170 and Vincent spun a 168 for the Lady Hubs. Norris also ended her series on a strong note, shooting a match-best 148 in the third game.

Freshman Mia Villavicencio totaled a 316 series with a high score of 116, while sophomore Paris Washington added a 292 series with a high score of 111 and sophomore Magaly Belmonte finished with a 283 series and a high score of 108 to round out the varsity lineup for Rochelle.
