SYCAMORE — The Rochelle Lady Hubs concluded their Interstate 8 Conference home-and-home series against Sycamore on Wednesday evening. Despite hanging tough for the first 30 minutes, Rochelle was unable to keep pace with the Spartans, who cruised for a 9-0 shutout win over the Lady Hubs.
Sycamore (10-1-1, 6-0 Interstate 8) received a hat trick from Cortni Kruizenga and braces from Lana Walker and Marin Gautcher. Rochelle (6-9, 1-5 Interstate 8) will return to action with a home match against Kaneland on Monday, April 28 at 4:30 p.m.
