ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Lady Hub tennis team held its season-ending awards banquet on Wednesday evening. Several student-athletes took home RTHS and Interstate 8 Conference awards.
Abby Metzger was named the Varsity High Point Award winner and Merit Namaste-Rose was named the Varsity Most Improved Player Award winner. Abby Losoya was named the Fresh/Soph High Point Award winner and Vivian Novak was named the Fresh/Soph Most Improved Player Award winner.
Catherine Williams and Erin Murphy received Interstate 8 All-Conference Honorable Mentions this season. Eleven Lady Hubs including Ashley Lozano-Barragan, Jaicee Ramos, Sydney Carmichael, Lauren Dyer, Katie Toczylowski, Abby Metzger, Yaretzi Villalobos, Natalie Wagner, Zoe White, Erin Murphy and Catherine Williams received Academic All-Conference awards.
