CLEARWATER, Fla. — Gregory James Nink, 71, died peacefully at his home in Clearwater Fl. after a brief battle with cancer. He went to be with the Lord May 3... on Kentucky Derby day his favorite... Born in Rochelle, Illinois he was proceeded in death by his Father-- John V. Nink Sr., Mother --Charlotte and older brother John V. Nink Jr. (Jack). He is survived by 2 brothers, Michael—wife Linda (Longboat Key, Fl.) B.J. (Clearwater, Fl.) five nephews and nieces Tracey, John, Carrie, Mark and Matt. Growing up in the Real Estate business “Headman” as he was affectionately called worked with his brother Jack at Thonotosassa Realty in Thonotosassa Fl. for many years. He was stubborn, funny and energetic and lots of fun to be around. He enjoyed sports. He loved the Bears, Bulls, and White Sox. Funeral will be at St. Mary's Star of Sea church, Longboat Key, Fl. at a later date.
