ROCHELLE — Hub Printing, a full service sheetfed and digital printer, announced Thursday the merger with Rockford based sheetfed, digital and direct mail firm Thrift-Remsen Printers. The merger gives the combined company a leading market position and unified solutions in the commercial printing, digital and direct mail markets.

As part of a long-term succession plan, this merger positions the next generation of both families to continue the legacies of Hub and Thrift-Remsen, with Haas, (president), Tim Remsen (vice president), Tom Remsen (vice president of sales), and Kristy Provi (vice president of mailing) leading the company.

Robert Remsen (CEO of Thrift Remsen) will continue as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition and stated, “We are delighted at the outcome of this merger of our two market leading companies and the opportunity to continue Thrift-Remsen’s 81-year history serving the print market. The combined company will operate out of Hub Printing’s facility in Rochelle under the “Hub-Remsen Print Group” name.
