ROCHELLE — In Rochelle, spring elections are April 2 when three candidates will seek the office of mayor.  
Be prepared to cast informed and unbiased votes via the Illinois Voter Guide, provided by the League of Women Voters of Illinois and Ballot Ready.
With the Illinois Voter Guide, you can:
Explore your ballot. Dive into the background and opinions of every candidate on your actual ballot.
Make informed choices. Find a reason to vote for every office on the ballot, and save your choices as you go.
Vote. Breeze through the ballot box by bringing your saved ballot to the polls.

 Forum

The League of Women Voters of Rochelle Area will host a candidate forum Sunday, March 17 featuring candidates for mayor and city council. The forum will be broadcast live on WRHL, 1060 AM.
Did you know, you can vote from anywhere if you are in the military or you’re an American overseas? Get all of your voting questions address at Ogle County Clerk Laura Cook’s webpage: http://bit.ly/OgleCoVoting.
 Early voting and Vote by Mail are available now through April 1 for all Ogle County precincts at the courthouse in Oregon.
Voter registration is open until March 5. Grace period registration and voting is open through March 6  for all precincts at the Ogle County Courthouse in Oregon.
Important dates
Register to vote online (last day): March 17
Vote by Mail app for Military (last day to receive): March 25
Vote by Mail application (last day to receive): March 28
Mail a Ballot (Last day to send out): March 28
Early voting at the courthouse: Saturday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to noon for all precincts at the Ogle County Courthouse in Oregon.
Early voting in Rochelle Flagg and Dement Precincts only at the Flagg Township Building, 303 W. IL Route 38, in Rochelle: March 27, 28, 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Last day to have Vote by Mail application is Thursday, March 28
Last day to mail ballots: March 28.
