On Aug. 24, at approximately 9:03 p.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 7100 block of West Edgewood Road. After investigation, it was determined that an eastbound vehicle being driven by William Kreps, 61, of Dixon, traveled off the north edge of the roadway. The vehicle then entered a cornfield where it overturned. Kreps refused medical attention at the scene. He was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On Aug. 27, Leo R. Dempewolf ,25, of Oregon was arrested for failure to appear. Dempewolf had a bond of $682 and was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 27.
