On May 25 at 12:03 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a red Honda scooter in the 100 block W. 2nd St. in Leaf River for a moving violation. After a further investigation, the driver, Brian A. Rosenbalm, 37, of Leaf River, was arrested for driving while license suspended, no insurance, and no registration. Rosenbalm was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he posted bond and was given a June court date.
On May 26, the Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ethan Wallin, 18, of Rockford, for fleeing to elude. Wallin was arrested by deputies on Edson Road near Junction Road after he attempted to elude deputies. Wallin was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
On May 26, the Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Fabiola Villareal-Hernandez, 31, of Rochester, Minnesota, for driving while license revoked. Hernandez was arrested by deputies on I-39 after being stopped for speeding. Hernandez was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
On May 27, George Monroe, 47, of Dixon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. Monroe has a full cash bond of $100. Monroe was scheduled to appear in court May 28.
