MOUNT MORRIS — Mary A. Lowe, 83, a resident of Mt. Morris, formerly of Rochelle, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Pinecrest Community in Mt. Morris. She was born April 8, 1936 in Wayne County, Illinois, to Charlie and Inez (Porter) Lowe.
Mary is survived by her sister, Leila Ann (Elmer) White of Diamond, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Nancy Cavan.
Mary is preceded in death by both her parents; her brothers, Theodore, Gilbert, and Earl; and her sisters, Rose Whitson, Louise Bullard, and Wilma Sager.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Beverage - Lyons Family Funeral Homes, 704 N. Sixth St., Rochelle. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor’s Joy from Faith Lutheran Church and Rodney Caldwell of Pinecrest Community. Interment will follow at Flagg Center Cemetery in Rochelle.
